Description
What is the relationship between air temperature and water temperature of a river?
This project looks at the daily average air temperature in Bedford, Mass and the 8 a.m. water temperature of the Merrimack River at Bellegarde Boathouse, Lowell, Mass. The air temp is in degrees fahrenheit and the water temp is in degrees celsius. The data sets are labelled with the correct year they were collected, but within the data set, all the timestamps have been changed to 2014 so that they may be layered year over year for comparison.
