Project #2198

Description

As we progress in the 21st century, our wildlife has seen some tough times with many animals becoming vulnerable for extinction or in some cases actually extinct.  The data expressed in this project will highlight some of the land animals currently in trouble as well as their geographical region of the world.  Although this data does not include all species, it does represent many of species noted by the  worldwildlife.org website.

From this data, are there certain areas of the world that appear to have more endangered animals than other areas?

Why do you think that this is the case?

Are we trending to improve the situation.  Give examples to support your opinion?

I will note that the 2010 data is estimated through readings.  Actual numbers may slightly vary.
