Osmosis: Beginning Mass vs. Ending Mass (Salt in Red, Plain in Blue)
As you'd expect in this experiment, the beginning mass and ending mass of each submerged vegetable are closely correlated. However, all of the vegetables submerged in salt water had a slightly higher beginning mass than ending mass, while all of the vegetables in plain water had a slightly higher ending mass than beginning mass. Is this to be expected?
