The following project highlights some of the career statistics of Larry Bird during his time playing in the NBA. Larry Bird played for the Boston Celtics between 1979 and 1992. The data focuses on his career averages in Points Per Game (PPG), Rebounds Per Game (RPG) and Assists Per Game (APG) and Field Goal Percentage (FG%).

Guiding Questions:
1. Using the pie chart or bar graph determine Larry Bird’s top three career averages for each of the following categories - PPG, RPG, APG, and FG%.
2. Using a histogram, determine his highest occurring averages for PPG, RPG, APG and FG%.
3. What is the most frequently occurring average amongst all of the categories - what is it and how many times did it occur?
4. Using information from the graphs, is there any correlation between PPG and FG% Explain the correlation, if any. Why do you think there is/isn’t a correlation between these numbers?
5. What conclusion(s) can you make about each of Larry Bird’s sets of statistics over time (during the course of his years playing with the Celtics)?
