Project #3143 on iSENSEProject.org
The World Health Organization annually publishes mortality data for countries around the world on deaths that are attributable the environment. Environmentally related deaths are important notably because they could be preventable by modifying the environment in which they have taken place.
Questions regarding the data set:
1. Which country has the largest percentage of deaths attributable to environmental causes?
2. Which environmental problem is most severe (injuries, noncommunicable diseases, or infectious / neonatal /nutritional) for countries with the highest environmental deaths?
3. Which environmental problem seems to be affecting these countries the least?
The original data can be found within the Global Health Observatory data repository, within the World Health Organization website, found here: http://apps.who.int/gho/data/node.main.162?lang=en
