Description
Fourth grade students took a survey to decide what tree to choose for the Festival of Trees annual town contest. Every year students need to enter a tree. Students chose between three trees (Starry Night, Fireworks, and Under the Sea). Then they plotted their findings on ISense pie chart and on a line plot worksheet. Students were then asked several questions.
Standard: 4.MD.4 Make a line Plot to display a data set of measurements in fractions of a unit (½, ¼, ⅛). Solve problems involving addition and subtraction of fractions by using information presented in line plots.
