This project replicates Plinko!, a game of chance featured on the long-running game show The Price Is Right. In Plinko!, a contestant places one chip at a time on a pegboard, selecting an opening position for the chip. As the chip descends, it encounters pegs in nearly every row, eventually settling into one of several slots at the bottom of the board. Prize money is awarded to the contestant based on the final resting slot of the chip.
This version will determine empirically how a chip's starting position affects the probability of it landing in a particular final slot. To play, drop a ball into the machine and record both the starting position (a letter from A to I) and final position (a number from 1 to 9), using the following Android app: [LINK].
