This project aggregates data on eye color and ancestry. Generally speaking, blue eyes are common among people whose ancestors came from northern and central Europe. Brown eyes are common among people of Asian and African ancestry. Grey eyes are common among people in Russia, Finland, and the baltic states. Green eyes are common in northern and central Europe, particularly among those of celtic or german ancestry.
