Edge Consulting Data Analysis - Exploring Alternative Approaches

Edge Consulting is a firm that specializes in diagnosing and solving problems in manufacturing processes. This consulting firm is currently employed by Jordan & Jordan, a corporation in the shampoo industry, to examine why its main plant is producing shampoo at a lower cost than its two newer plants.

Edge Consulting has analyzed the current situation and identified three contributing factors as to why the Boston plant is producing shampoo at a lower cost. These contributing factors include receiving bottles, quality control, and compounding.

The visualizations in this project explore three alternative approaches to improve every contributing factor. Using the visualizations we can determine which alternative approach will generate the greatest return on investment for Jordan & Jordan.
