This shows that there has been a decrease for the ratings of players as time goes on. On the one hand it is true that the talent in the NBA is getting better so it would make sense for the rankings of these players to be higher, but on the other hand since this data set is for the year 2020, the players that are drafted in say 2018 and 2019 are only a year or two into their career and they have lots of time for their career to blossom, which will lead to their rating going up in future years. I predict that in future games the rating from the 2018 and 2019 draft class will go up from what it was in the 2020 season.
