Most names were given to fewer than 200 babies that year. Interestingly, the most popular boys' names tended to be given far more frequently than the most popular girls' names.The top 13 boys' names were all given more frequently than the most popular girls' name. And the top boys' name was given almost twice as frequently (872 times) as the most popular girl's name (511 times). Although you can't see the names on this chart, those were Jayden and Sophia, respectively.
